    WMP11b2 is here, yet no Podcast support

    Neowin: "According to a German Blog, Microsoft could be releasing Windows Media Player 11 Beta 2 to the public today. Microsoft has not released any updates or product information for WMP11 for sometime now and those using the public beta have been anxious for an updated build or timeframe. Although we cannot confirm the rumours, it would be a good time to release an update as many have experienced issues with portable devices and performance in WMP11."

    Too True. I've been running WMP11b1 almost since it came out. Performance has been spotty... weird bugs would crop up, then dissappear. My Toshiba Gigabeat-S has been a bit schizoprenic in its interaction. I am soooo ready for b2. Plus, word on the street is that b2 would finally get podcasting support.
     
    Update [5:22p EST]: WMP11b2 does not appear to include podcasting. :( I'll check it when I get home.
